Meet William J. Cho D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. Bill Cho grew up in Southern California. He attended the University of California, Irvine for his undergraduate studies earning a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry degree.
Periodontal and Dental Implant training consisted of a 3 year residency program at the Ohio State University. In addition to earning his Certification in Periodontics, he earned a Masters of Science in Dentistry by completing a clinical research study examining the effects of mechanical trauma to gum tissue and teeth. During his residency, Dr. Cho was chosen as Chief Resident in the Department of Periodontology.
Dr. Cho has had extensive training and experience performing periodontal procedures such as: corrective and regenerative periodontal treatment, soft tissue management, as well as pre-implant and implant placement surgical techniques. Dr. Cho strives for the best possible result under the most comfortable setting and only uses the most extensively researched materials for all procedures performed. Dr. Cho is licensed to perform oral and intravenous (IV) sedation to make treatment visits more comfortable.
Dr. Cho is a Board Certified Periodontist. Being a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology is periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. Dr. Cho is also a member of the American Association of Periodontology, American Dental Association California, California Dental Association, San Diego Dental Association, and The Academy of Osseointegration. On his spare time, Dr. Cho enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and playing golf.
